With exceptional design versatility and an extensive interior architectural design background, Eric has traversed the world working on five-star resorts, boutique hotels and casinos, and residential projects from Tokyo to Saudi Arabia. Beginning his career over 20 years ago while studying at Mankato State College, and later at the prestigious Art Center College of Design, Eric has become well versed in all aspects of the design process including project management, space planning, budgeting, interior architecture, colors and materials, and project research. Showing exceptional skill with the organization and coordination of consultants, team guidance, and scheduling; he is not only concerned with aesthetics, but with providing functionality and overall usability so the finished project answers the client’s needs and safeguards their investment. He has earned respect on the part of clients and colleagues for his talent, honesty, open communication and strong commitment to the highest standards of performance in the design industry.
Prior to joining sfa, Eric excelled at interior design firms such as Hirsch/Bedner Associates and Cheryl Rowley Design, working on renowned luxury projects including the Hyatt Regency Kauai, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Westin River Walk and Hotel Monaco’s in Denver & Salt Lake and The Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas. Specializing in projects that are both unique and challenging, Eric has produced complicated multi-million dollar environments featuring full custom millwork, state of the art media systems, computer engineered lighting and hydraulic systems for architectural special effects. He brings to sfa the wealth of experience, years of working knowledge and high level of service expected by our clientele.
